# Creating an Account

> Sign up with your email and set up your Sendovex wallet.

## Sign up

1. Download the Sendovex app or open [sendovex.com](https://sendovex.com) in your browser.
2. Tap **Get Started** and sign in with your email address or Google account.
3. On first login, a Sendovex Smart Wallet is automatically created for you on the Polygon network.
4. Enter your **legal first and last name** when prompted. This is required before you can trade and cannot be changed easily after identity verification is approved.

  Enter your name exactly as it appears on your government ID. After identity verification is approved, your name is permanently locked.

## Your wallet

Your Sendovex Smart Wallet is a self-custodial wallet on the Polygon network. It is:

* **Self-custodial**: only you control it. Sendovex cannot access or freeze your funds.
* **Gas-free**: all transactions are covered by Sendovex. You never need POL.
* **Exportable**: you can export your private key at any time from the Wallet tab.

The wallet address shown in the Account tab is your public Polygon address. You can receive USDT or USDC to this address from any compatible wallet.
